Summer of Love Contest 2010 Who can enter? Anyone with a Griffin orthodontic t-shirt can enter. Anyone with a FaceBook account can enter. Anyone who “likes” Griffin Orthodontic fan page (FB has changed the designation of “become a fan” to “like”). So you must have a FB account and find Griffin Orthodontics on FB and then click on “like”. What? When you go on vacation this summer, take your Griffin Orthodontics t-shirt with you. Take a picture of you wearing your GO shirt while you are at some exotic location (the leaning tower of Pisa, the Statue of Liberty, Mount Rushmore, or wherever). Post the picture to Griffin Orthodontic FB page. The object of the game is to get as many of your friends, relatives, others to “like” your posted picture. The person with the most “likes” wins! The Prize: an 8 GB Apple ipod. When? This contest will begin on June 1, 2010 and end on September 15, 2010. The September end date will allow anyone taking their summer vacation in late August to participate. So get out there. Wear your GO shirt. And don’t forget your camera! Smile Train News Our November-December 2009 Smile Train Fund drive comes to an end. Thanks to our patients, staff, and friends who have supported this great cause. We raised $206.00. GO will contribute an additional $76.00 for a total contribution of $280.00. This will cover the cost of one individual in need of corrective surgery. Check out www.smiletrain.org for details.
Our most AWESOME contest ever Free orthodontic care for mom or dad Contest Details: This contest will begin October 1, 2009 and end April 1, 2010 (6 months). Only Parents of our active (in treatment) patients may be eligible for FREE orthodontic care. The parent who refers the most candidates during the contest period WINS FREE ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT from Griffin Orthodontics. Referred orthodontic candidates must start a “FULL” case of orthodontic treatment with Griffin Orthodontics. (“LIMITED”, “INTERCEPTIVE” OR PHASE I” cases not accepted). All referred candidates must start treatment between October 1, 2009 and April 1, 2010. Parents must refer a minimum of 3 orthodontic candidates. Winner will be determined after April 1, 2010. In the event of a tie, there will be drawing. All “tied” parents must be present at the drawing (date and time to be determined). Treatment will involve the use traditional braces (cosmetic or metal brackets and wires). Treatment to include retainers and retainer follow up appointments for a 24 month period. Treatment does not include cost of any services not performed by Griffin Orthodontics (crowns, bridges, surgeries, implants, etc). Orthodontic candidate must list the parent as referral source on his/her health history form. How many words can you make using the letters in "Griffin Orthodontics": Words must be at least three letters. No slang. No profanity, please! The winner will get a $50.00 gift certificate to Fujiama Japanese Restaurant. Contest ends in October. Congratulations to Keith Robinson! He came up with 498 words. Wow, what an accomplishment! The Smile Train wooden nickel exchange (1-19-2009): We recently completed our fund drive for The Smile Train. Thanks to all of our patients, Dr. Sue Higgins, and Dr. Yvonne Stubbs for their contributions. We are able to contribute $325.25 to The Smile Train cause. The Smile Train is a very worthy non-profit charity which can change the lives of disadvantaged children born with cleft lip and palate. Check out this charity at www.smiletrain.com! Draw the Doctor: Submit your drawing of Dr. Griffin and you could win $50.00 worth of Marcus® Movie Passes. Your Drawing must be on an 8x11 piece of paper. It can be as silly or serious as you like. All pictures will be on display in our office and our patients and parents will vote for their favorite. Votes will be counted on March 30th 2009. The winning drawing will be posted here. On Tuesday July 28, 2009 at 7:05 pm the Brewers take on the Washington Nationals. View the game from the club box seats above home plate. You will love these seats. Guess the number of ALL the eggs (candy and plastic) in the jar and you could win. The winner has to chose the number closest without going over. This offer is good only for our active patients.
