| “I started seeing Dr Griffin when I was 9 years old. At that time, I had a lot of baby teeth and my adult teeth were coming in very crooked and crowded. Dr. Griffin recommended that I have a bunch of baby and some adult teeth pulled and come back in six months. A lot of my friends were getting braces and I was getting excited to have my braces. I had to save my excitement until I was 13 years old before I finally got my braces. Although I had to wait forever to finally get my braces, I only had to wear them for about 16 months and got them off just before I started high school.” (Megan was treated using serial extraction of teeth and traditional fixed braces.
