While you may have preferences for what type of treatment you want, the doctor may recommend something else based on his examination. You will be able to work together to determine what orthodontic treatment will be best for you.
What are the Benefits of Invisalign®?
If Dr. Griffin considers Invisalign® a fitting option for you, there are many reasons to consider it over traditional braces. Invisaligns are clear, plastic aligners that you can remove from your mouth, so there are no restrictions when it comes to eating and drinking. This also makes taking care of your teeth much easier, as you can brush and floss as usual without them in your mouth. If you are approved for Invisalign®, you can then get digital impressions with the iTerro® Scanner, so no need for an uncomfortable mold impression. The invisalign smile simulator can even show what your smile will look like after your treatment is over.
How Long Will I Need Treatment For?
There is unfortunately not one answer for this question. It’s entirely dependent on the individual, including factors such as your specific orthodontic issues. Dr. Griffin will do his best at getting you your dream smile in the least amount of time necessary, and will work with your budget to make sure your goals are attainable.
Is There an Age Limit on Receiving Orthodontics?
Fortunately there is no age limit for receiving braces or any sort of orthodontic treatment! All of our treatment options simply depend on your orthodontic needs, not your age.
